What You Need to Know About Colorado Estate Laws

Attorney Karen Lynn Brady will address your questions about Colorado estate laws in this 1-hour webinar. From next of kin relationships, to declarations and personal representatives, this webinar will cover important issues funeral directors should know that will impact the families you serve.

This webinar is applicable for 1.0 contact hours of Colorado Laws credit approved by the Colorado Funeral Service Board.

About the Presenter

Karen Lynn Brady, Attorney at Law, practices in the areas of estate planning, business planning, business succession planning, and business growth counseling as the principal attorney of Karen Brady & Associates, P.C. in Arvada, Colorado. She has written several publications including Estate Planning and Taxation in Colorado, and is a contributor to the publications of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. She is also a frequent guest lecturer for various organizations, including the Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., the Financial Planning Association of Colorado, the Colorado Society of Enrolled Agents, and others. Karen is a member of, and frequent teacher for, the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys. She is a former board member of the Womens Estate Planning Council, and a current board member of the Colorado Estate Planning Education Council. She is also a member of the business section and trusts and estate sections of both the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association. Karen is also a member of Wealthcounsel, a national organization of estate and business planning attorneys.

 

Advance registration is required for each person who attends this class to ensure you receive program details and CE credit. 

Each CFDA Colorado Laws webinar is approved for 1.0 contact hour of continuing education credit by the Colorado Funeral Service Board. Each participant must register online to be eligible for CE credit.  Fees will apply for non-member participants to earn CE credit.

  • $35 per person for Non-Members

Each registrant must complete the post-event evaluation form within 2 days after each webinar to receive CE credit approved by the Colorado Funeral Service Board.
