CFDA is launching its brand new membership structure for 2019! Membership is now open to practitioners throughout the funeral service profession - from funeral homes and mortuaries to care centers, cemeteries and crematories. If you provide care and service to families before, during or after a death, consider Professional Membership in CFDA.

CFDA Membership and CFSB Certification are NOT the same thing.

Membership in CFDA provides benefits like the ability to engage in committees and special interests groups, serve in a leadership capacity with the association, and attend CFDA-sponsored education programs with free or low cost registration.

Certification is a recognition that you have met certain qualifications based on your education, training and work experience. Certification does not entitle you to the benefits of membership noted above.

Ideally, you can be BOTH -- a CFDA Member and a CFSB certified practitioner. You can be a CFDA Member without being certified by the Colorado Funeral Service Board, and you can be CFSB certified without being a CFDA Member.

Please consider joining CFDA as a Professional Member AND renew your certification credential for the Colorado Funeral Service Board.

We're excited to unveil the new CFDA website with a host of new features. Join CFDA and create your personalized member profile, renew your membership online, register for events, see your transaction history, and self-report education activities. We hope you'll take a test drive.

Launching a brand new website is an exciting, yet complicated process. The AMO system offers a host of new features based on a personal user profile and you must establish a user name and password to access the Member Center.

The key to access is your Membership in CFDA. Join CFDA as a Professional Member and you will complete the online application form and submit your membership dues. After membership is approved, your member profile will be activated and you can create a password to access the Member Center.

Remember that CFSB Certification renewal is NOT membership and doesn't grant the same access or benefits of Professional Members.

There has never been a better time to get involved in your profession. CFDA needs you! Join a CFDA committee and expand your sphere of influence.
CFDA wants to take education and networking on the road in 2019. We're looking for meeting hosts at various locations around the state. Can you help us?
