October 27 | Positive Cases Limit Funeral Capacity by County

 

A growing number of positive COVID cases are impacting county Safer at Home levels and may limit the capacity of funeral services and life rites gathering in your location.

Level 1: Cautious | Houses of worship and Life Rites may operate at 50% of the posted occupancy limit indoors not to exceed 175 people excluding staff, whichever is less, per room. For outdoor worship services, a house of worship must maintain 6 feet distance between non-household members and work with the appropriate local authority to obtain approval for the maximum number of individuals who may attend in the designated outdoor space.

  • Arapahoe, Delta, Douglas, Elbert, El Paso, Larimer Mesa, Montrose

Level 2: Concern | Houses of worship and Life Rites may operate at 50% of the posted occupancy limit indoors not to exceed 50 people excluding staff, whichever is less, per room. Extra large establishments may expand to no more than 100 patrons indoors per room within their usable space calculated using the Distancing Space Calculator. Outdoor worship
services operate the same as Level 1.

  • Boulder, Broomfield, Eagle, Jefferson, Las Animas, Morgan, Weld

Level 3: High Risk | Houses of worship and Life Rites may operate at 25% of the posted occupancy limit indoors not to exceed 50 people excluding staff, whichever is less, per room. For outdoor worship services, a house of worship must maintain 6 feet distance between non-household members and work with the appropriate local authority to obtain approval for the maximum number of individuals who may attend in the designated outdoor space.

  • Adams, Denver, Logan

 

If cases continue increase and local areas are unable to keep up with public health demands, public health orders may elevate counties to Stay at Home requirements.
