October 7 | Amended Public Health Order 20-35 Safer at Home Dial

 

The CDPHE issued Amended Public Health Order 20-35 Safer at Home Dial on September 20, 2020,that outlines 3 levels (below) of requirements based on the County in which you operate.

J. Houses of worship and Life Rites may operate at 50% of the posted occupancy limit indoors not to exceed 175 people, whichever is less, per room. For outdoor worship services, a house of worship must maintain 6 feet distance between non-household members and work with the appropriate local authority to obtain approval for the maximum number of individuals who may attend in the designated outdoor space.
J. Houses of worship and Life Rites may operate at 50% of the posted occupancy limit indoors not to exceed 175 people, whichever is less, per room. For outdoor worship services, a house of worship must maintain 6 feet distance between non-household members and work with the appropriate local authority to obtain approval for the maximum number of individuals who may attend in the designated outdoor space.
J. Houses of worship and Life Rites may operate at 50% of the posted occupancy limit indoors not to exceed 50 people, whichever is less, per room. Extra large establishments may expand to no more than 100 patrons indoors per room within their usable space calculated using the Distancing Space Calculator. Outdoor worship services operate the same as Level 1.

 

Funeral receptions are still not authorized.

“only the ceremony or rite itself is included in this authorization, receptions or parties associated with life rites are not included in this authorization.”

For example, Denver, Jefferson, Boulder, Adams and Broomfield counties are currently at Level 2, whereas Douglas and Arapahoe counties are currently at Level 1.
