Education Credit

The Colorado Funeral Service Board has approved CE credit for sessions at the CFDA-CAC Convention. Credit will be applicable for CFSB certification in 2008 or 2009. A certification form will be provided for validation at the end of each education session.

New this Year!  The CFSB will offer CE credit for participation at planned networking functions. Social events that promote interaction and idea-sharing with colleagues are valuable opportunities to enhance your personal and professional development. The CFSB will award 0.5 credits for each networking function during the 2008 CFDA-CAC Convention including the Wednesday Welcome Reception,  Thursday Networking Lunch, Thursday Reception, and Friday’s Closing Luncheon.

In addition, one hour of CE credit will be awarded when you visit 10 vendors in the Exhibit Hall. These participants will also be eligible for a special prize drawing.

Dress Code

Attire for the convention is business casual – that means no suits or ties for convention participants and vendors.

Business casual attire for men includes casual slacks, nice jeans, polo-type shirts, sport coats or light sweaters. For ladies, casual slacks and blouses, dresses or skirts, and a light jacket or sweater is suggested. Please remember that the CFDA-CAC Convention is a business function, so we request that no shorts, tank tops or beach-wear be worn to convention sessions.
