All participants must pay a registration fee and wear a name badge for admission to CFDA/CAC Combined Convention activities. Please see the Convention Registration Form for categories and pricing.  

Member fees apply to all employees of CFDA or CAC member firms; CFSB certified individuals must be current with their 2007 certification to be eligible for the certified rate. Non-member fees apply to all other individuals.

Full payment is required within 10 days for all registrations submitted on or before August 13; registrations after this date will not be accepted without full accompanying payment. A $50 per company fee will apply for all registrations postmarked or faxed after August 13.

Full Convention Registration
This option will provide admission to all Convention functions and education sessions throughout the convention, including Wednesday opening reception; tickets to breakfast and lunch on Thursday and Friday; Thursday reception; and ticket for Denim & Diamonds Theme Party on Friday night.  

Employees of CFDA or CAC member firms -- $325
CFSB certified individuals -- $350
Non-members -- $395

One-Day Registration
This option will provide admission to Convention education sessions and function tickets for one-day only.  Tickets for the Denim & Diamonds Theme Party are not included with one-day registration and may be purchased additionally.

CFSB certified individuals -- $225
Non-members -- $250

Spouse & Guest Registration
This option will provide admission to Convention social events for spouses or guests who accompany a Convention registrant, including Wednesday opening reception; tickets to breakfast and lunch on Thursday and Friday; Thursday reception; and ticket for Denim & Diamonds Theme Party on Friday night.  

Spouse / Guest Registration -- $150 per person

Share-Pass Registration
The Share-Pass will allow up to three (3) employees from the same company to attend the Convention for one special price. Different from the Full Convention or One-Day Registration, the Share-Pass allows the company to split the registration so that up to three (3) employees can attend all education sessions, the Wednesday opening reception and Thursday reception. Please note, however, that this option includes only two (2) tickets for Thursday and Friday breakfasts, Thursday and Friday lunch, and Denim & Diamonds Theme Party on Friday night.  

CFDA or CAC member firms -- $675 per pass (maximum of 3 persons to share)
Non-members -- $875 per pass (maximum of 3 persons to share)

To better anticipate daily attendance and food orders, please RSVP for the functions listed on the attached Convention Registration Form. Tickets will be included with your on-site packet.  

Golf Tournament Registration
Join your funeral service colleagues for an afternoon of golf before the convention begins! This 18-hole tournament will be held at Ute Creek Golf Course in Longmont. The tournament will be in scramble format and golfers will be paired randomly for even more fun! Advance registration is required — see Convention Registration Form.

Denim & Diamonds Theme Party
Friday, August 31 - 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

This event will be fun for the whole family with buffet dinner, music, square dancing, line dancing, kettle corn; couples and family photos. Denim & Diamonds attire is requested for this party – it’s OK to wear your favorite jeans, western wear and boots for this function. And don’t forget the BLING – rhinestones and other embellishments are strongly encouraged!

$45 per person for additional guests  (discounted price of $20 each for kids 10 and under)
A ticket for this function is automatically included in the Full Convention, Share-Pass and Spouse/Guest registration options.

Cancellations & Refunds

If it becomes necessary to cancel a registration, please phone the CFDA/CAC Combined Convention office at 303-791-2336. Substitutions are encouraged in lieu of cancellation.

Refund requests must be made in writing to CFDA/CAC Combined Convention. Refund requests received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2007, will receive full registration fee less $25 processing fee. For refund requests after this date and until August 24, refunds will be 50% of registration fee less $25 processing.

There are no refunds for no-shows or cancellations submitted after 5:00 p.m. Mountain time on Friday, August 24.

Student Scholarships

The Arapahoe Community College Mortuary Science Program requests support to provide interested students a scholarship to attend the CFDA/CAC Combined Convention. Commitment and financial support should be made directly to ACC. The school will be responsible for collecting scholarship funds, allocating scholarships to interested students and will register those students to attend the convention.

CEU Credit

The Colorado Funeral Service Board will grant contact hours for all education sessions at the CFDA/CAC Combined Convention. Credit will be based on 1 contact hour per 50 minutes of approved program and will be applicable for CFSB certification in 2007 or 2008. A certification form will be provided for validation at the end of each education session.

Convention Attire

Attire for the convention is business casual – that means no suits or ties for convention participants and vendors.  Business attire for men includes casual slacks, nice jeans, polo-type shirts, sport coats or light sweaters. For ladies, casual slacks and blouses, dresses or skirts, and a light jacket or sweater is suggested. Please remember that the CFDA-CAC Convention is a business function, so we request that no shorts, tank tops or beach-wear be worn to convention sessions.

Denim & Diamonds attire is requested for the theme party – it’s OK to wear your favorite jeans, western wear and boots for this function. And don’t forget the BLING – rhinestones and other embellishments are strongly encouraged!
