Colorado Laws Credit
CFSB Certified Professionals are required to earn at least 2.0 CE hours in Colorado funeral service law updates to renew certification at “Active” status for 2018.
The laws that pertain to funeral service in Colorado are somewhat complex and often misunderstood. It is essential that CFSB Certified Professionals maintain a basic knowledge of Colorado Revised Statutes and federal laws that pertain to funeral service. Many state boards require CE credit from laws updates to maintain a Funeral Director license, and CFSB has now adopted this standard for its voluntary certification program.
The Colorado Funeral Service Board will identify and must approve classes that are eligible for the required laws credit to ensure that programs satisfy the required criteria.
